Request for a SSO Sandbox

Sandboxes for SSO are available upon request for current and prospective technical integrators without charge,  These can support OAuth2/OpenID Connect or SAML 2 and we need to know which of these is required at the time of request.  We can produce two clients if needed, one for each.

For OAuth2 we will need:

• The SSO URL (URL that you call us from)
• Redirect URL (The URL that SIMS ID will return the user to post login)
• Logout URL (The URL that SIMS ID will return the user to post logout)

For SAML

• The SSO URL (URL that you call us from)
• The ACS URL

and optionally up to 3 custom claims.

Within SIMS ID Partner (Not live) we will then:

• Create you as a vendor
• Create you as a technical Integrator
• Create a demo school for you.
• Invite you to be the SIMS ID admin for the school. This allows you to create / manage users in SIMS ID for the school.
• Create a SSO tile for you with the information above.
• Choose the Tile for the school.
• Enable the tile from the TI's management portal.
• Provide the following back to you
  • Client ID
  • Secret
  • Org ID
• Provide links to appropriate documentation.

This then provides identity management for your application linked via the organisation id and the SIMS external id of the logged in user.  Please note that it is incumbent on the part of the TI to manage permissions.
