Autumn 2019 SIMS 7 Release - Plan

The following list is part of our early plans for our Autumn release.

 

  • As a result of an independent return requirement, OFSTED registration number field to increase in length.  (Prefix of SC)
  • As part of the Catholic Census for Wales, there will be a number of additional lookup values staff ethnicity.
  • As part of the Free school meal entitlement, an additional concept of transitional relief has been added and will impact cashless caterers and possibly dinner money / epayment providers.
  • DRAS APIs for attendance will include additional fields MiddleName & UDFs.
  • Work for  SEN in NI adds a number of new fields and lookups. 
  • Removal of the tick box for NI for 'Educated Off Site' not in school.  Removal of the field would be a breaking change but this is currently on hold. 
  • Buk deletion to be added for enquirer's in the Independent Edition.
